  • Judging: Assist by presenting quilts for judging, scribing for judges, and preparing items for haning.  (This position may not be available every year.)

Helping at the quilt show is more than just fun! One of the benefits that people get from volunteering is the satisfaction of incorporating service into their lives and making a difference in their community.  Research has also established a strong relationship between volunteering and health: those who volunteer have lower mortality rates, greater functional ability, and lower rates of depression later in life than those who do not volunteer.

As thanks for your time, we'll provide you with a volunteer show pin and FREE ADMISSION.  Plus, every shift you work gives you a chance to win Shift Prizes and another ticket for the Grand Prize Drawing.

The Volunteer Grand Prize:
... we are still working on it - check back soon!

What you need to know for the day of your shift: here are some good reminders of the on-the-job Do's and Dont's and the doorway to use when you arrive at the Mesa Convention Center.
