How to Submit an application for the AQG Speakers Bureau

AQG membership is NOT required for inclusion in the Speakers Bureau. Presentations may include any lecture style presentation or trunk show that may be of interest to AQG Members and the greater quilting community.

To submit an presentation, complete this online form with the following information

  • The Speakers name, phone number, and contact information
  • The name of the Presentation
  • A short description of the Presenation
  • A photo suitable to promote the Presentation

The Speaker will be contacted after the receipt of the submission with notification that the entry has been posted, and annually thereafter for continued inclusion in the Speakers Bureau. AQG reserves the right to edit, refuse, reject, or cancel a Speaker's listing at any time, and shall not be held liable for any loss or expense that results from an error or omission in a listing.

AQG Chapters desiring to schedule a presentation should contact the Speaker directly using the information provided. Fees need to be mutually agreed upon by the Speaker and the Chapter. Any fees are to be covered exclusively by the Chapter.

 


How to Submit an entry for the AQG Services Directory

AQG membership IS required to offer quilt related services to the members of AQG and the greater quilting community. 

To submit an entry, complete this online form with the following information

  • The AQG Member's name, phone number, and contact information
  • The name of the Service
  • A short description of the Service - note that due to the non-profit status of AQG, we cannot advertise the prices of your services
  • Optional: physical address (city and zip) or website for the Service

All entries are subject to approval before posting.  AQG reserves the right to edit, refuse, reject, or cancel a service listing at any time.  AQG shall not be held liable for any loss or expense that results from an error or omission in a listing. 

You will be contacted after the initial receipt of your submission with notification that the entry has been posted.  The entry will remain in the AQG Services Directory until the end of the Membership year (June 30th), dependent on the Member's continued good standing in the organization.

 


How to Submit an item for the AQG Quilters Classifieds Pages

AQG membership is NOT required to list an item on the AQG Classifieds Pages, however your association with the Guild will be noted with your contact information.

To submit an listing, complete this online form with the following information

  • Contact information
  • Classified Category: Announcements, Community, Events, Free Stuff, Garage Sales, Items Wanted, Items for Sale, Volunteers, Other (please specify)
  • A very short description of the item - note that due to the non-profit status of AQG, we cannot advertise the prices of your items
  • Optional: photo of item
  • Optional: entry expiration date

All listings are subject to approval before posting.  AQG reserves the right to edit, refuse, reject, or cancel an item listing at any time.  AQG shall not be held liable for any loss or expense that results from an error or omission in a listing.

You will be contacted after the initial receipt of your submission with notification that the listing has been posted.  Unless we are instructed to remove the entry, it will remain on the posted until the end of the quarter (January 1, April 1, July 1, or October 1).

 


How to Submit an quilt for the AQG Opportunity Quilt Page

Only AQG Chapters may list a quilt on the Opportunity Quilt page. Chapters are responsible for selling the Opportunity Quilt tickets.

To submit an listing, complete this online form with the following information

  • Contact information
  • A short description of the the quilt, which may including the size, the quilt pattern, who pieced and/or quilted the item, or anything else that may help to promote your ticket sales
  • A good photo showing the whole quilt top
  • When and/or where the drawing will be held for the winning ticket
  • Optional: describe how your Chapter plans to use the funds raised

All listings are subject to approval before posting. AQG reserves the right to edit, refuse, reject, or cancel an item listing at any time. AQG shall not be held liable for any loss or expense that results from an error or omission in a listing.

You will be contacted after the initial receipt of your submission with notification that the listing has been posted. Unless we are instructed to remove the entry earlier, it will remain on the posted until the drawing for the wining tickets.
